Renowed Russian flautist Malika Mukhitdinova is one of the most versatile musicians of her generation. She is known for her baroque, classical and contemporary flute repertoire.
First Prize winner of "Bravo Bravissimo " International Competition in Cremona at the age of 14 and winner of All-Russian Competition Classic Heritage, Malika Mukhitdinova permanently collaborates with conductors sush as Mikhail Pletnev, Vladimir Jurowski, Teodor Currentzis, Yuri Bashmet, Alexander Vedernikov, Vladimir Ponkin, Vladimir Spivakov, Sir Roger Norrington, Eduard Topchjan, Hansjörg Albrecht, Pavel Kogan, Alexey Utkin, Ion Marin, Ariel Zuckermann with the orchestras such as Russian National Orchestra, MusicAeterna, State Academic Symphony Orchestra, National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra, Moscow Virtuosi, Musica Viva, The Moscow Soloists, New Russia Chamber Orchestra, The Honoured Ensemble of Russia etc .
She is a participant of many important festivals: December Evenings, Returns, Yerevan Perspectives, Noble Seasons, Double Cane, Eliso Virsaladze Music Festival in Telavi, La Folle Journee etc .
As a soloist and chamber music player Malika Mukhitdinova toured in Japan, France, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, China, Georgia, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Germany, Estonia, Austria, UAE, Ukraine.
She has been performing actively with famous Russian violinist Tatiana Grindenko and the Academy of Early Music and participated in projects with the Studio For New Music Ensemble .
Born in Moscow, Malika Mukhitdinova studied at Moscow Music School named after Gnessin (Prof. Maria Chepurina) and at Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaykovsky (Prof. Oleg Khudyakov). She also took master classes from Andras Adorian and Jean Ferrandis .
During her studies she was a scholarship holder of the New Names Foundation .
